Have You Been Battling Bacterial Vaginosis For Past Years? – Find Some Help Here To Cure Your Recurrent BV And Stop It From Reoccurring
I have been fighting BV for almost 2 years now. I get it at least once or twice a month which means 12 to 24 times a year! Recently i have had a bout with it for almost 2 weeks now. I have been to doctors and have done all the prescriptions and antibiotics just to find myself battling with it again soon after. I have changed my diet. I eat no wheat products and no sugar.
I also have ulcerative colitis so I’m not sure if this is linked in any way to my BV problem. As far as vitamins are concerned, i take glutamine to keep my sugar level plus it cuts any cravings i may have for it. Acidofillus was taking 2 billion a day but i was told to take triple that. The rest of my vitamins are just daily natural vitamin c, e, etc. What is going on with my body and why do i keep getting such an overgrowth of bad bacteria? I need a natural remedy for this because i am done with the doctors. There’s got to be something i can take to keep my body’s pH balanced. Thanks i sure would appreciate any feedback and or websites you may know.
As you might already know, there are millions of women in our society today who suffer from recurrent bacterial vaginosis; and if you look around on the net, you will find thousands of questions just like the one above, asked by women who have this infection and want to treat it.
The above question was asked to us by one of our chronic BV patient, and I wanted to answer it here so it may help other women who are in the same situation. In this short article I will give you some effective natural remedies to cure your bacterial vaginosis and then also provide links to some more advanced internet recourses from where you can find help, tips and recommendations for completely getting rid of your BV no matter how chronic it is.
You are doing most of the things that are recommended for this infection but it seems that things still are not right. One of the things that you may not know [and it does seem counterintuitive] is that you must not wash your vaginal area with soap. No, not at all. Just use water to rinse when you take a shower but no soap, since soap disturbs the natural PH balance of the area.
Another problem is that many of the bacteria found in the regular probiotic capsules that you buy in the store are not the right ones to fight this type of bacteria. Probiotic therapy is effective in treating this infection, but only specific bacteria are effective. Four strains of lactobacilli, L. acidophilus (61701 and 61880), L. crispatus (55730) and L. delbrueckii subsp. delbrueckii (65407), demonstrated the greatest inhibitory activity against the BV-associated bacterial species, according to a study published in the Journal of Medical Microbiology. By the way, antibiotic therapy with Cleocin Vaginal Cream (clindamycin phosphate) is not recommended for patients with ulcerative colitis, though this is the common treatment for the infection. You didn’t say what the prescriptions that you took were called, but you must be careful which antibiotics you use.
There is also this very great bacterial vaginosis cure guide which helped me a lot when I was struggling with my recurrent BV. The guide I am talking about is called: Bacterial Vaginosis Freedom written by Elena Peterson. I have recommended this guide to so many friends, family members and loved ones who had problems with recurrent BV, and most of them totally cured their condition just by following the recommendations in this guide. I will advise any woman who is struggling with persistent, chronic and recurrent BV to get a copy of the Bacterial Vaginosis Freedom guide and follow the recommendations in it.
